NBC Radio Talk Show in Trento

Mary Holden and I were guests on a the NBC (not National Broadcasting Corp.)  Radio Talk show for two hours on Monday night, a private station owned by the Nanarona and the Bertolli families!

The host of the show was Dennis Forti, Kathryn's agent, and his assistant is Valentina Nappa...his sidekick. We were interviewed about the show and the discussion centered on what we like about Italy, what America likes about Italy and about the differences between music that is popular in the U.S. and in Italy.

Visiting Castello del Buonconsiglio

This photo was taken at Castello del Buonconsiglio in Trento, Italy. A castle built in the space of time between the 13th and 15th centuries. Kathryn loved the castle ambiance and most likely found inspiration for future work in the rooms, courtyards and walkways.

'Farewell, Italy...till we meet again, but next year to welcome 2012 with another more exciting exhibition in
Pisa, Italy.

An Art Show of the Essence

TRENTO - The work of artists may save the world. When two artists are renown from different countries come together in one spot, a special diplomacy occurs.

An art show opening this weekend in the sala Hinderbach room at Grand Hotel Trento features the work of abstract impressionist Kathryn Henneman of Phoenix, Arizona U.S.A., and sculptor Francesco Scanu Lussu of Rome, Italy. Lussu crafts wood and stone. The diplomat responsible for the show is producer Dennis Forti of Master Solutions.

Of her opportunity to show art in Italy, Henneman said, "I am honored to partner with master sculptor Lussu who represents Italy's splendor and I hope my work shows the heart of my country, and my soul, as well."

The show is titled "Essence and Quintessence" which describes the construction and a 'fifth element,' or spirit that resides in each painting and structure.

The public is invited to view the works which are for sale.
